The sand dunes of Mui Ne
Once, Mui Ne was just a lonely stretch of beach where backpackers camped in the sand in the early 1990s. Today there are many resorts in all price ranges on the beach of Mui Ne. Despite the growing number of tourists, the place retains its charm and the low-lying accommodations fit harmoniously into the landscape.
The place is also famous for its huge red and white sand dunes. The white ones Sand dunes of Mui Ne are most impressive, as the constant oceanic winds pile up the sand to form beautiful Sahara formations.
Also of interest is the Fairy Spring (Suoi Tien), a small river that flows through part of the dunes from interesting sand and rock formations. A hike along the river from the sea is part of this tour. You can walk there barefoot, but you need for the large sand dunes sturdy shoes, because the sand is extremely hot.
Also very interesting are the Po Shanu Cham towers located west of Mui Ne on a hill near Phan Thiet. From there you have a great view of the village. There is also a graveyard with beautiful gravestones. The 9th century complex consists of the ruins of three towers. At the edge there is a small pagoda and a gallery.

The sand dunes of Mui Ne
Day 1: Arrival Mui Ne
At 7:30 am you will be greeted by our personal guide from your hotel in Saigon (or directly from Airport) and we start the Mui Ne trip. The journey takes about four hours. After moving into your Mui Ne hotel room, make the rest of the day to your liking and start your beach vacation in Mui Ne.
2nd day: Discover the surroundings and sand dunes Mui Ne
Today you watch as the former fishing village comes to life again. We will take you to the White Lake first. The "Bao Trang" lake with its dunes is one of the most beautiful destinations in the area of Mui Ne.
After a short 45 minute drive you will see the sparkling lake in the white dune landscape. At the dune there is the possibility to rent a quad bike or car and drive over the dune landscape.
After you have finished exploring the fascinating dune landscape, the tour takes you to the so-called fairy spring. The Fairies source is located in the village of Ham Tien in the middle of the beach section. The path to the source leads through a sandy river on the edge of the dune landscape. Here you take off your shoes and walk for about 30 minutes through the lukewarm water. Along the way you'll see whimsical sandstone formations and sometimes local kids playing.
You will then enjoy your lunch right on the beach. At the end of your tour we will show you the friendly fishing village of Mui Ne.
