Bai Tu Long Bay
In the gentle light of the rising sun, a natural spectacle of such sublime beauty reveals itself before us that it takes our breath away - Bai Tu Long Bay. It lies there like a well-kept secret, hidden in the shadow of its more famous sisters Halong and Lan Ha, but it is in no way inferior to them in terms of splendor and magic.
Here, far away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist hotspots, Vietnam unfolds in its most pristine form. The emerald green water nestles like liquid jade around majestic limestone cliffs that rise out of the sea like sleeping giants. Every island, every hidden bay tells its own story, shaped by millions of years of wind and weather.
Glide through this water world in a traditional sampan and you will become part of a landscape that seems to have sprung from a painter's imagination. The silence is broken only by the gentle lapping of the waves and the distant call of a seabird. Here, in this oasis of peace, you will find yourself, detached from the constraints of the modern world.
But Bai Tu Long Bay is more than just a backdrop to marvel at. It is an invitation to discover, to experience, to immerse yourself in a world full of wonders. Paddle in crystal-clear lagoons where the water is so clear that you can see the seabed. Explore mysterious caves whose walls tell stories from times long past. Or let friendly fishermen guide you to hidden beaches whose white sand has never before been touched by a tourist's foot.
The encounters with the people here are of a warmth and authenticity that have become rare in our globalized world. In floating villages, you will experience a way of life that has hardly changed for generations. The hospitality of the locals will touch you deeply and give you an insight into the soul of Vietnam.

Here you can still experience untouched landscapes with emerald green water and white sandy beaches.
The history of the bay
In the depths of time, when the world was still young and myths shaped reality, a miracle occurred on the shores of Vietnam that still touches people's hearts today. It is a story of divine intervention, of courage and beauty that found its eternal home in the emerald waters of Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay.
Imagine this: The country of Vietnam, threatened by hostile forces that threatened to overrun its borders. In this darkest hour, the Jade Emperor, ruler of the celestial realm, turned his attention to the fate of mankind. With one thought, he sent a host of majestic dragons to earth, led by a wise mother dragon.
They cut through the night sky like comets, their scales glittering in the moonlight, their eyes sparkling with determination. With a thunderous roar and flaming breath, they pounced on the invaders. The earth shook under their fury, the seas parted before their might. And when the dust settled, Vietnam was saved.
But then something unexpected happened. The dragons, these heavenly creatures, fell in love. They fell in love with the breathtaking beauty of the landscape, with the turquoise blue water that stretched endlessly before them, with the majestic limestone cliffs that jutted out of the sea like sentinels.
The mother dragon, overwhelmed by the beauty and newfound peace, decided to settle in the bay we know today as Halong Bay. Her children, however, full of a youthful thirst for discovery, moved on and found their home in the neighboring Bai Tu Long Bay.
Today, as you glide through these enchanting waters, you can almost hear the echo of their playful laughter reverberating off the rocks. Every island, every cave, every hidden cove tells a story of these divine beings who became the protectors and shapers of this landscape.
Halong Bay, majestic and awe-inspiring, bears the dignity and wisdom of the Mother Dragon. Her imposing rocks rise out of the sea like silent sentinels, witnesses to thousands of years of history.
Bai Tu Long Bay, on the other hand, less well-known but no less enchanting, breathes the spirit of the young dragons. Here you will find hidden lagoons and mysterious caves, as if the playful dragon children had created them as their secret hiding places.
