Day 1-2: An adventure trip to Vietnam's capital (B)
Discover the magic of Hanoi: your journey starts in European cities served by various airlines. If you are flying to Hanoi, Vietnam Airlines is a recommended option as it offers direct flights that are especially convenient for families with children.
After your arrival at Hanoi airport, your tour guide will be waiting for you. You will be chauffeured to your hotel and can look forward to an exciting time in Vietnam's capital. Hanoi impresses with its numerous lakes, shady boulevards and public parks. An absolute highlight is the “Lake of the Returned Sword” (Hoan Kiem Lake), which is surrounded by magnificent trees, historic colonial buildings and parts of the old city. You will spend your first night in Hanoi.
Experience the picturesque and fascinating Hanoi up close: on your city tour the next day, you will explore the famous sights of Hanoi. You will visit Ba Dinh Square, where the imposing Presidential Palace is located. Day 3: The secrets of Halong & Bai Tu Long Bay: A journey into unspoilt beauty (F,M,A)
Over the next few days, you will immerse yourself in the magical world of Halong and Bai Tu Long Bay which is lined with tiny jungle islands and picturesque white sandy bays.
This hidden treasure is just as breathtaking as the famous Halong Bay, but far less frequented. Here you will experience a relaxed atmosphere, far away from mass tourism and the hustle and bustle.
During your journey, you will encounter a diverse landscape ranging from verdant rice plantations to the winding rivers that characterize the Red River Delta. Finally, you will set sail on our traditional junk to explore this spectacular region. Lunch is served on deck as the junk glides elegantly between numerous emerald green islands and imposing limestone formations.
This is the perfect opportunity to relax in the clear sea and enjoy the natural beauty to the full. In the evening, our experienced chef will prepare a delicious dinner of fresh seafood for you to enjoy on board.

Day 4: Enchanting Bai Tu Long Bay (B)

Around midday, it's time to say goodbye to the junk and continue your journey back to Hanoi airport. In the evening, continue your adventure journey as you fly on to Hue, where you will spend tomorrow.

Day 5: Discover Hue: A journey through the glorious past (F)
Let our guide and driver pick you up in the lobby of your hotel and get ready for a journey of discovery through the highlights of the old imperial city of Hue.
Our tour begins with the Thanh Toan Bridge, a true gem of traditional Vietnamese architecture. This wooden arch bridge with its tiled roof is located around 8 kilometres south-east of the city centre and exudes a very special charm.
We continue to the tomb of the Gia Long King, the founder of the Nguyen dynasty. Located deep in the mountains, this remote mausoleum has an almost magical attraction. Let yourself be enchanted by the peaceful, poetic landscape, the ancient tombs and the majestic buildings.
At lunchtime, we take a break at a local restaurant to enjoy the authentic, tasty specialities of Hue cuisine. Fortify yourself for the afternoon.
Afterwards, a real highlight awaits you: the An Hien Garden House, which is considered the most beautiful garden house in the old imperial city. Immerse yourself in the traditional architecture and let the atmosphere transport you to a bygone era.
Day 6: A breathtaking train journey over the Cloud Pass to Da Nang (F)
A fascinating train journey awaits you today, taking you over the Cloud Pass to Da Nang. The Cloud Pass, with a height of 496 meters and an impressive length of 20 kilometers, promises one of the most spectacular views in the entire country. On the right side, the land drops steeply down to the sea, while on the left, majestic mountains rise up to 1,000 meters into the sky and form the weather divide in central Vietnam.
During your train journey, you will make a stopover in Da Nang, where you will be picked up to continue your journey to Hoi An. You will spend the night in Hoi An, a city with a rich history and a fascinating culture waiting to be discovered by you.
Day 7: Hoi An: A charming town with history and elegance (F)
Hoi An welcomes you with bright yellow houses adorned with blooming flowers, shining silk lanterns, traditionally dressed women proudly wearing pointed straw hats and colorful markets. This town was a major trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries and has retained its unique architecture and laid-back lifestyle over the years. When you visit Hoi An, you will find a charming little town with a fascinating history.
The wealthy merchants of the time built magnificent houses and donated temples and pagodas, which still adorn the cityscape today. The bright yellow facades of these houses are not only a feast for the eyes, but also tell of the former heyday of this place.
Although the harbor has silted up over time and aided the rise of Da Nang as a leading port city, Hoi An retains its enchanting character. Your journey begins with a stroll through the French-colonial center of Saigon, where you will encounter the majestic Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic main post office, the old city hall and the magnificent opera house.
