Welcome to Vietnam. At the Hanoi airport you are already expected and warmly received by your tour guide. Vietnam's capital is a city of lakes, shady boulevards and public parks. Especially the "Lake of the Returned Sword" (Hoan Kiem Lake) surrounded by beautiful trees, old colonial buildings and parts of the old town is a favorite place for Hanoi of all ages. DAY 2: CITY TOUR HANOI
On today's city tour you will see the famous sights of Hanoi. You drive to Ba Dinh Square to visit the Presidential Palace. Of course, a visit to the Hoan Kiem Lake and the Jade Mountain Temple (Ngoc Son) with the striking dragon heads should not be missed. In the evening, visit a performance of the famous Water Puppet Theater. Here you can follow everyday scenes from the Vietnamese life - the (Miss) fortunes of rice farmers and fishermen, for example - or just from the history of the country. Overnight in Hanoi
DAY 3: CRUISE HALONG BAY
After enjoying your delicious breakfast, leave Hanoi for Halong Bay. Enjoy the sight of farming areas and let the day-to-day Vietnamese village life pass by. Arrived in Halong City you board a beautiful cruise ship. You will experience the fascinating nature in this picturesque environment very relaxed and will take different small stops. While you enjoy your dinner, you will experience a charming sunset over the bay. Overnight on the ship.
DAY 4: BEAUTIFUL HALONG BAY
Experience the absolute silence of Halong Bay. Enjoy a hearty breakfast while bizarre rock formations pass by. At noon you leave the ship and drive back to the airport of Hanoi. In the evening you will fly on to Phong Nga to spend tomorrow. Overnight in Phong Nha.
DAY 5: PHONG NHA - PARADISE CAVE
The day begins with a visit to the spectacular Paradise Cave, the most beautiful cave in the National Park, where you will be amazed by the huge cave system and impressive formations. It is fascinating that this is just a short stretch of the Hang Vom Cave system, which extends more than 30 km through the National Park. The highlight of the day is Hang Tra Ang. This cave was opened to the public in August 2016 and is untouched by any development. After a short walk through the jungle, where you will be served lunch by the porters before swimming into this cave to explore with a helmet, headlamp and life jacket. Overnight in Phong Nha.
DAY 6: FASCINATING PHONG NHA
Take advantage of the bicycles provided free of charge (or on request, transfer by car) and cycle to the Phong Nha Cave boat station. There you can take a boat trip to Phong Nha Cave. Phong Nha Cave is a majestic river cave and was the first cave in the area opened in 1997 for tourists.
The second cave above the Phong Nha cave is called Tien Son. It is a smaller cave. The 400 steps leading to the cave will reward you with spectacular views of the surrounding area and peace and quiet.
Before leaving, you'll be briefed on the sights in the cave and the surrounding area. With a bit of historical knowledge, this trip is doubly worthwhile. Overnight in Phung Nha.
DAY 7: DEMILITARIZED ZONE & IMPRESSIVE TUNNEL SYSTEM VINH MOC
After a hearty breakfast make your way to Hue. On the way visit the demilitarized zone that separated North and South Vietnam after 1954. Here you can visit the famous tunnel system Vinh Moc and get a memorable impression of the Vietnam War. In the tunnels, the residents found refuge and a hiding place in the war. Bunkers and military cemeteries are memorials of the former battles. Then you arrive at Hue and are taken to your hotel. Overnight in Hue.
DAY 8: BICYCLE TOUR & BOAT TRIP THROUGH THE EMPEROR CITY HUE

After breakfast, explore Hue and the surrounding area. From Hue's center, you can go on a leisurely bike ride. The bike tour ends at the Thien Mu Pagoda, a Buddhist monastery whose complex houses the highest pagoda in Vietnam. A boat tour will take you to the magnificent mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang, which consists of 40 buildings and houses palaces, temples and pavilions.
Afterwards visit the imposing imperial citadel. Admire Hues' glittering past as the capital of the Nguyen Dynasty. Overnight in Hue.
DAY 9: TRAVEL FROM HAI VAN CLOUDPASS TO DA NANG - HOI AN
Today you will experience a fascinating train ride over the clouds pass to Da Nang. The so-called cloud pass with a height of 496 meters and a length of 20 kilometers offers one of the most breathtaking views of the entire country: right falls off the land to the sea, left towering up to 1,000 meters high mountains in the sky, the weather divide in Central Vietnam forms.
On the way you stop in Da Nang, where you will be picked up and continue to Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.
DAY 10: DISCOVER HOI AN
Experience Hoi An History
Day trip to Hoi An. Hoi An was an important trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries. Its architecture and relaxed lifestyle have changed little over the years, so you can expect a charming little town here. The wealthy merchants built beautiful houses and donated temples and pagodas. The silting up of the harbor later favored the ascent from Da Nang to the leading port city.
Hoi An fell into a deep sleep and could therefore until today the image of a city of the 18th Jhs. preserve. Another highlight is next to the city strolling the extremely lively tailor's guild of the place.
DAY 11: MY SON - EXPERIENCE HISTORY
My Son World Heritage Site
This morning you will visit the temple city of My Son the Cham, whose ruins are located about 50 km southeast of Hoi An. My Son was the religious center and one of the most important places in the Kingdom of Champa in Vietnam. The construction of the Cham, without mortar the bricks seamlessly put together and the magnificent ornaments are unique in Southeast Asia.
The temples of My Son have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999. Then you have time to explore the ruins in a beautiful, green hill and river landscape.

DAY 11-14:: RELAX IN QUY NHON
Bathing in Quy Nhon a quiet seaside town famous for its beautiful beaches. The following days are at your own disposal.
Relax on the beach or pool of your hotel and recharge your batteries. Enjoy moments of freedom and feel how time stands still. You should definitely try the local cuisine!

DAY 14: ARRIVAL IN SAIGON (HO CHI MINH CITY)
At the airport your guide will welcome you with a cool drink and accompany you to the hotel.
The bustling metropolis of Saigon abounds with energy, activity and movement. Everywhere you look you can see the confluence of traditional and modern life.

DAY 15: SAIGON (HO CHI MINH CITY)
The highlights of Saigon
Begin with a tour of the historic center, such as the ornate town hall (Hotel De Ville), the old opera house, and visit the neo-Romanesque Notre Dame Cathedral and the central post office.
Then it goes on to the War Museum, which documents extensively the torments of the long Vietnam War with numerous original exhibits. Inside, there are detailed photographic exhibits, while outside there is a collection of tanks, planes and weapons.
In the afternoon, continue to Cholon, Saigon's Chinese district, and visit the Bitexco Tower.

DAY 16: MEKONG DELTA
Start at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). You will be picked up in the morning and the day trip to the Mekong Delta in the west begins. First, visit the small towns of Ben Luc and Tan An and take a boat trip on the mighty Mekong River - the lifeline of Indochina.
Once there, where local craft products and sweets are made from coconuts, you can get an authentic insight into local life. Try one or the other sweets and maybe take something for the ones who stayed at home.

DAY 17: MEKONG DELTA - FLOATING MARKET
Discover the original landscape of the Unseen Mekong Delta and immerse yourself in the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. In the morning you can take the boat to the largest floating market in the region.
