After your visit, we drive to the hotel and spend the night at Aira Boutique Hotel Hoi An to recover from the exciting experiences of the day.

.

Today your day begins with a private half-day excursion in Hoi An. Hoi An was an important trading harbour in the 17th and 18th centuries. Its architecture and laid-back lifestyle have changed little over the years, making it a charming little town. The rich merchants built beautiful houses and donated temples and pagodas. The silting up of the harbour later favoured the rise of Da Nang as a leading port city. Hoi An fell into a deep slumber and has therefore been able to preserve the image of an 18th century town to this day. In addition to strolling around the town, another highlight is the extremely lively local tailors' guild. The afternoon is at your leisure. You will spend the night at the Aira Boutique Hotel.

Spend this day in Vietnam with your children as you wish.

Hoi An is an ideal place for some relaxation and at the same time offers the opportunity for all kinds of explorations. So you can decide individually and flexibly on the spot whether and what you would like to do.

Stroll along the beach, for example, or cycle through green rice fields to the old town of Hoi An. You can hire bikes locally for a few euros. For many travellers, Hoi An is one of the most beautiful places in Vietnam: yellow old houses and colourful lanterns adorn the narrow streets. Just drift along with your family!

Overnight stay at Aira Boutique Hotel.

Today's snorkelling excursion offers a great experience for all ages. It's a perfect day on the water and on a luxury catamaran boat. Our snorkelling master will take care of you and ensure your safety and comfort in the water and on the boat. Let us show you the beauty of the underwater world of the Cham Islands and enjoy an afternoon on a unique and beautiful beach.

This morning you will visit the Cham temple town of My Son, the ruins of which lie around 50 kilometres south-east of Hoi An. My Son was the religious centre and thus one of the most important places of the Champa kingdom in Vietnam. The Cham construction method of laying bricks on top of each other without mortar and the marvellous decorations are unique in Southeast Asia.

The temples of My Son have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999. You will then have time to explore the ruins in a beautiful, green landscape of hills and rivers. You will spend the night at the Aira Boutique Hotel.

After breakfast, we cycle to Cam An Pier. Then we take the boat to Cua Dai beach dune, where you will observe the gillnet fishing. Here you will learn how to cast the net. Continue to Cam Thanh village, which is famous for water coconut palms. A short time to introduce the local history before taking a boat trip along the canal on the unique round basket boat. The experienced fishermen will show you how to catch crabs. Around noon, enjoy lunch with local specialities. Back to Hoi An in the afternoon. Free time at leisure.

Overnight stay at Aira Boutique Hotel.

From today you can enjoy your well-deserved holiday in a dreamlike seaside paradise. Hoi An's sandy beaches, combined with a laid-back beach lifestyle, create a tropical atmosphere. It's also the perfect place to unwind on the beach, savour fresh seafood and generally slow down, sit back and relax. Here are some popular activities in Hoi An:

  • Visit the old town: Explore the well-preserved old buildings, traditional merchants' houses and narrow streets of Hoi An's old town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Take a river cruise: Take a leisurely boat ride on the Hoai River, which flows through Hoi An, and admire the view of the city's famous yellow walls.
  • Go shopping: Hoi An is famous for its shopping, and visitors will find a wide range of products here, from traditional lanterns and handmade textiles to tailors making customised clothing.
  • Visit a temple or shrine: There are several temples and shrines in Hoi An, including the Cantonese Assembly Hall and the Japanese Covered Bridge, which are excellent examples of the city's rich cultural heritage.
  • Snorkelling and diving: The crystal clear waters around Cham Island are ideal for snorkelling and diving. Visitors can observe a variety of marine life, including colourful coral reefs and tropical fish.
  • Sample the local cuisine: Hoi An has its own unique cuisine, and visitors can try dishes such as Cao Lau (a noodle dish) and Banh Mi (a sandwich made from Vietnamese baguette).

You will spend the night at the Aira Boutique Hotel.

Your journey with the family through Vietnam comes to an end today.

Your driver will take you to Da Nang airport in around 30 minutes. From there, you will start your return journey to Europe. Depending on the flight time, you will land at home on the same day or the following day.
