The Cham Museum in Da Nang is the largest museum of Cham art and sculpture in the world. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood of Da Nang city, near the Han River. If you are travelling to Da Nang, you should not miss a visit to the Church of the Rooster. This is one of the oldest and most beautiful churches in the city, built by the French in the early 20th century. The Church of the Rooster is also known as Da Nang Catheral because it has a metal rooster on top of its bell tower. The rooster symbolises the apostle Peter and the Christian resurrection.
The Church of the Rooster is an impressive Gothic-style building with a pink façade and colourful stained glass windows. Inside, you can admire the altars, statues and paintings that tell the story of Christianity in Vietnam. The church is also a place of worship and prayer for the local Catholic community, which has around 4,000 members.
The Church of the Cock is open daily from 5am to 5pm, except from 11.30am to 2pm when it is closed for lunch. Entry is free, but you should dress appropriately and behave respectfully towards the worshippers.

Linh Ung Pagoda
The Linh Ung Pagoda is one of the most famous and beautiful Buddhist temples in the Vietnamese city of Da Nang. It is located on the Son Tra peninsula, also known as Monkey Mountain, and offers a breathtaking view of the sea and the city.
The pagoda was inaugurated in 2010 after six years of construction and is a symbol of peace and harmony between man and nature. The Marble Mountains
The Marble Mountains are a group of five hills made of limestone and marble in the south of Da Nang in Vietnam. They are a popular destination for visitors who want to discover the fascinating history and nature of this region. The five hills are named after the five elements: Kim (metal), Thuy (water), Moc (wood), Hoa (fire) and Tho (earth).
The Marble Mountains are not only known for their impressive landscape, but also for their numerous caves and tunnels, which are adorned with Buddhist and Hindu shrines. Some of the caves have been used as secret bases or field hospitals over the centuries. The largest and most famous cave is Huyen Khong, which is flooded with sunlight through a hole in the ceiling. Here you will find a huge stone Buddha statue and two altars, one of which is dedicated to the god and goddess of marriage.
To explore the marble mountains, you can either take a lift or a marble staircase that leads to the various peaks. From there you have a breathtaking view of the city and the sea. It is advisable to visit the Marble Mountains in the early morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat and crowds. The entrance fee is VND 40,000 and the lift costs VND 15,000.
