After your arrival at Hanoi airport, your tour guide will be waiting for you. You will be chauffeured to your hotel and can look forward to an exciting time in Vietnam's capital. Hanoi impresses with its numerous lakes, shady boulevards and public parks. An absolute highlight is the “Lake of the Returned Sword” (Hoan Kiem Lake), which is surrounded by magnificent trees, historic colonial buildings and parts of the old city. Experience the picturesque and fascinating Hanoi up close: on your city tour the next day, you will explore the famous sights of Hanoi. Over the next few days, you will immerse yourself in the magical world of Bai Tu Long Bay, which is lined with tiny jungle islands and picturesque white sandy bays.
This hidden treasure is just as breathtaking as the famous Halong Bay, but far less frequented. Here you will experience a relaxed atmosphere, far away from mass tourism and the hustle and bustle.
During your journey, you will encounter a diverse landscape ranging from verdant rice plantations to the winding rivers that characterize the Red River Delta. Finally, you will set sail on our traditional junk to explore this spectacular region. Lunch is served on deck as the junk glides elegantly between numerous emerald green islands and imposing limestone formations.
This is the perfect opportunity to relax in the clear sea and enjoy the natural beauty to the full. In the evening, our experienced chef will prepare a delicious dinner of fresh seafood for you to enjoy on board.

Day 4: Enchanting Bai Tu Long Bay (B)
Immerse yourself in the untouched tranquillity of Bai Tu Long Bay. Together with your children, you will explore hidden caves and moor at secluded islands where you can relax on white sandy beaches, swim or go kayaking.
In between, enjoy moments of peace and quiet on the deck of the ship while you indulge in exquisite meals.
Around midday, it's time to say goodbye to the junk and continue your journey back to Hanoi airport. Continue your adventure in the evening as you fly on to Phong Nha, where you will spend tomorrow.

Day 5: Adventurous discoveries in the caves of Phong Nha: a day full of wonder and adventure (B,L)
Your day begins with an unforgettable visit to the spectacular Paradise Cave, which is undoubtedly the most breathtaking cave in the national park. Here you will be amazed by the gigantic cave systems and impressive formations. It's hard to believe that this is just a small section of the Hang Vom cave system, which stretches over 30 kilometers into the national park.
The highlight of the day is undoubtedly Hang Tra Ang. This cave was first opened to the public in August 2016 and has not seen any development since then. After a short jungle walk, you will reach this untouched treasure. Here, your team will prepare lunch before your optional immersion into this cave. Equipped with a helmet, a headlamp and a life jacket, you will explore the fascinating underworld.
You will spend the night again in Phong Nha, where you can look forward to more exciting adventures the next day.
Day 6: An adventure on your own: discover Phong Nha's worlds of wonder (F)
Prepare for a breathtaking adventure as you explore the wonders of Phong Nha on your own.
Use the bicycles provided or opt for a comfortable transfer by car to get to the picturesque Phong Nha Cave boat station. Here you can enjoy an exciting boat trip into the majestic Phong Nha Cave, which was the first cave in the region to be opened to tourists in 1997.
Directly above the Phong Nha Cave is the Tien Son Cave, somewhat smaller but still impressive. The ascent to the cave requires the courage to climb 400 steps, but the effort is rewarded with spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. Here you will also find the peace and serenity you have been looking for.
Before you begin your exploration tour, you will receive an informative talk in English that will give you an understanding of the historical background of the cave and its surroundings. This historical knowledge will make your excursion an even richer and more rewarding experience.
You spend the night again in Phong Nha, looking forward to more exciting adventures the next day.
Day 7: The history tour to Hue: Adventure in the demilitarized zone (B)
After a hearty breakfast, set off on an unforgettable adventure towards Hue.
During your trip, you will make a stop in the former demilitarized zone that separated North and South Vietnam after 1954. Here you will have the opportunity to explore the famous Vinh Moc tunnel system and gain a deep and lasting impression of the turmoil of the Vietnam War. These tunnels served as a refuge and hiding place for the locals during the war, and today they are silent witnesses to a bygone era. Bunkers and military cemeteries stand as impressive memorials to past battles.

Later, continue your journey of discovery by car and explore the magnificent Mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang. This impressive estate consists of 40 buildings and houses, including palaces, temples and pavilions, which offer a captivating insight into the history of this region.

Day 9: A breathtaking train ride over the Cloud Pass to Da Nang (B)
A fascinating train journey awaits you today, taking you over the Cloud Pass to Da Nang. The Cloud Pass, with a height of 496 meters and an impressive length of 20 kilometers, promises one of the most spectacular views in the entire country. On the right side, the land drops steeply down to the sea, while on the left, majestic mountains rise up to 1,000 meters into the sky and form the weather divide in central Vietnam.
During your train journey, you will make a stopover in Da Nang, where you will be picked up to continue your journey to Hoi An. You will spend the night in Hoi An, a city with a rich history and a fascinating culture waiting to be discovered by you.
Day 10: Hoi An: A charming town with history and elegance (B)
Hoi An welcomes you with bright yellow houses adorned with blooming flowers, shining silk lanterns, traditionally dressed women proudly wearing pointed straw hats and colorful markets. This town was a major trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries and has retained its unique architecture and laid-back lifestyle over the years. When you visit Hoi An, you will find a charming little town with a fascinating history.
The wealthy merchants of the time built magnificent houses and donated temples and pagodas, which still adorn the cityscape today. The bright yellow facades of these houses are not only a feast for the eyes, but also tell of the former heyday of this place.
Although the harbor has silted up over time and aided the rise of Da Nang as a leading port city, Hoi An retains its enchanting character. Day 11-13: Unforgettable family time in Hoi An: freedom and discoveries (B)

Day 14: A dive into the heart of Saigon: an exploration with a local(B)
Today, an enthusiastic guide who has called Saigon home for many years will accompany you on an exciting journey into the vibrant life of the “Pearl of the Orient”. Together you will take a look at the elegant splendor of the French-colonial buildings and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of traditional pharmacies and lively markets.
Your journey begins with a stroll through the French-colonial center of Saigon, where you will encounter the majestic Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic main post office, the old city hall and the magnificent opera house. Despite the modern city life, the city retains its authentic Vietnamese charm, be it in the bustling alleyways of Le Cong Kieu, which boast antiques and curiosities, the narrow streets that reflect the real life of the people, or over a refreshing glass of freshly squeezed sugar cane juice at a traditional “wet market”.

Welcome to an exciting day in the famous Mekong Delta! The approximately 2.5-hour drive to Cai Be takes you through the breathtaking scenery of the green rice fields of the Mekong Delta. Once you reach Cai Be, your adventure on the water begins as you board a boat and explore the majestic Mekong River. Your senses will come alive as you experience the colorful hustle and bustle of Cai Be's small floating market, where locals sell their wares.
Your journey continues with a picturesque sampan ride on a small canal, while you are enchanted by the magical atmosphere. You will visit a traditional craftsmen's village, where you will gain an insight into local craftsmanship. Your taste buds will not be neglected either, as you enjoy a delicious meal in an authentic local restaurant on Tan Phong Island, from where you have a panoramic view of the majestic Mekong River.

An unforgettable day awaits you today, starting with a visit to the famous floating market. The floating market of Cai Rang, also known as the floating market of Can Tho, has a tradition of over a hundred years and is considered one of the largest authentic floating markets in the world - an absolute must-see in Can Tho.
Your adventure then takes you to a local workshop, where you will experience first-hand how the famous hủ tiếu noodles are made from tapioca and rice flour. These are carefully steamed, dried and cut. Then it's off on a rowing boat to explore the picturesque little canals and discover the hidden treasures of the area.
A special highlight is the stop at a cocoa farm. Cocoa has its roots in the wild tropical forests of Central and South America. Cocoa was introduced to Vietnam early on, particularly by Western missionaries. The central highlands of the country are still considered the ideal place for growing cocoa. A visit to the cocoa farm offers a fun and educational experience in Can Tho. Here you can see and learn how well-known cocoa products such as cocoa powder and cocoa butter are made from the fruit of the cocoa tree.
In the afternoon, you will have time to relax and let the impressions you have gained sink in.
