Welcome to our tour of Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City, or as it is also called: "The Pearl of the Orient". Your friendly guide, who has called this city home for many years, will accompany you on this journey of discovery. We will admire the French colonial buildings and experience traditional pharmacies and markets.
In the morning we will walk through the French-colonial center of Saigon, passing by the impressive Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Main Post Office and the old City Hall. We will also admire the Opera House and be enchanted by its beauty. But the original Vietnam also remains in the center. We will visit Le Cong Kieu Street, famous for its numerous antique and junk dealers, and dive into one of the countless narrow streets where most people live. Here you can experience the lively WetMarket while sipping a glass of freshly squeezed sugar cane juice. After a short detour to the Bitexco Tower, which we will visit from the outside, and a walk on the Nguyen Hue pedestrian street, we will visit the Giac Lam Pagoda.
Afterwards, we will drive to the Chinese-influenced district "Cho Lon". Here we will stroll through the vibrant streets and alleys of Chinatown and visit the largest market of the district, the Cho Binh Tay. The presentation and range of goods will be a sensual experience of a special kind.
We will end our tour with the fascinating War Remnants Museum. Here you will experience a poignant demonstration of the senselessness of war. Some of the black and white photographs are particularly touching and are dedicated to both foreign and Vietnamese journalists and photographers who perished during the conflict. The courtyard contains the spoils of war, including jets, tanks and cannons captured by the American military.
This will be an unforgettable experience that you will remember for a long time.
