Today you will discover the secrets, sights and places of Dong Thap that you should not miss. Xeo Quyt Forest & Secret Bunker is one of the hidden gems for real explorers. The 20-hectare Cajeput Forest of what is now Xeo Quyt National Relic Area served as a revolutionary base during the resistance wars against the French and the US, and is a historic and still little-visited attraction in the Southern Delta. Xeo Quyt is also known as the Little Dong Thap, with a large number of wildlife and plant species, cajeput jungles, a system of rivers and canals, lotus and water lily ponds.

In the afternoon you will visit Gao Giong. Here you can see and learn about many different species of birds, especially white storks. It is said that this is the place with the largest number of white storks in Dong Thap.

From the rowboat in the bird garden you can observe the birds at close range and in large numbers. It is interesting to see how they leisurely go in search of prey, sometimes waving their wings as if performing a welcoming dance, sometimes unconsciously soaring high, making the whole forest squawk...

Of course, one of the most beautiful highlights in Dong Thap must not be missing from our excursion. It is the old house of Huynh Thuy Le. This house was recognized as a national cultural monument in 2009. It is famous for its unique blend of East-West architecture. The house was the scene of a passionate love affair between its owner Huynh Thuy Le and Marguerite Duras - a famous French writer who wrote the famous novel L'Amant (The Lover).
