Explore the giant Hang Pygmy cave

After the briefing, we will make the 45min-1 hour drive to Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park to the starting point.

After saying goodbye to civilization, we will leave the road and start the jungle walk. While walking through the jungle, our guide will teach you about the local flora, maybe you will be rewarded with some delicacies that the jungle has to offer and you will be shown some things about the culture of the minority jungle people,(the Ruc Ca Roong).

Nachdem Sie mit gefiltertem Wasser, Helm und Lampen  versorgt wurden, erkundet das Team die Hang-Over-Höhle. Hang Over beginnt mit einem langen, schmalen Schacht mit verschiedenen Höhlenformationen, die mit jedem Schritt an Größe und Schönheit zunehmen. Schließlich wird das Team eine riesige Grotte erreichen, die mit erstaunlichen Stalagmiten und Stalaktiten, und wunderschönen Pools gefüllt ist. Hier in der Grotte wählt der Führer einen geeigneten Ort für das Mittagessen.

Hang Over and Hang Pygmy were once a large cave where the ceiling collapsed. This created 2 caves and a unique jungle inside the cave system. After climbing the jungle, you will enter the huge chamber of Hang Pygmy. Here, our guide and porter team will equip you with proper rappelling gear, inform you about safety procedures, and equip your harness with a fail-safe system. One by one, everyone takes turns descending into the cave, an 80-meter descent, with 23 meters covered by rappelling. Once everyone is safely at the bottom of the chamber, the group takes a short walk and turns the corner to the MASSIVE Cathedral of Hang Pygmy exit.

Hang Pygmy, the fourth largest cave in the world, where you set up camp at the mouth of the cave or in the middle of the jungle in the cave. While you explore this massive cave, our team of porters will prepare a Vietnamese meal of rice, vegetables, soup and meat. Oh, and as usual in Vietnam, rice wine will be included. A day underground.
The morning begins with a hearty breakfast and coffee or tea. After the meal, our team of porters tidy up the camp and make sure that nothing is left behind!

On the trekking home, we will stop a few more times to rest and have a snack, with the opportunity to gaze at the amazing jungle valley from which you hiked. When you leave the jungle trail, you will be greeted by the road with some cold drinks and a bus ride back to your Hotel.
