DISCOVER THE TIGER CAVE SERIES

This journey into the depths of the jungle requires porters, safety advisors and guides. You will explore the entire length of Hang Over Cave, Tiger Cave and Pygmy Cave. Hang Pygmy is considered the fourth largest cave in the world with a tropical jungle inside. The caves are masterpieces of what nature can produce with otherworldly landscapes. Make your way through the tropical jungle in Pygmy Cave before setting up camp underground. Marvel at giant stalagmites and statuesque stalactites that rise from the ground and hang from the ceiling like an alien species.

After saying goodbye to civilization, we will leave the road and start the jungle walk. While walking through the jungle, our guide will teach you about the local flora that the jungle has to offer.
After a few kilometers we will stop for lunch and take a break to be able to ask any questions you may have. After lunch, we will continue hiking until we reach Tiger Cave. Start your adventure by swimming for 45 minutes through the lower part of Tiger Cave and reach Kong Collapse - your home for the first night.

Day 2

A day underground.
The morning begins with a hearty breakfast and coffee or tea. After the meal, our team of porters will clean up the camp and make sure that nothing is left behind! Once you have been provided with local filtered water, a life jacket, helmet and headlamp, the team will begin exploring the Tiger Cave system, starting with the Tiger Cave swim. Swimming is optional, with a route around the cave. However, it is highly recommended to go swimming!

Tiger Cave is a challenging cave with climbing frames and low climbs, but very exciting. You can start swimming just a few meters from the camp. As you enter the river, your guide will take you under a low ceiling and then into a large open cave. You and your companions will swim, walk, climb and scramble through Tiger Cave.

Hang Over begins with a long, narrow shaft with various cave formations that increase in size and beauty with each step. Eventually, the team will reach a huge grotto filled with amazing stalagmites and stalactites, and beautiful pools. Here in the grotto the guide will choose a suitable place for lunch.

Hang Over and Hang Pygmy were once a large cave where the ceiling collapsed. This created 2 caves and a unique jungle inside the cave system. After climbing the jungle, you will enter the huge chamber of Hang Pygmy. Here, our guide and porter team will equip you with proper rappelling gear, inform you about safety procedures, and equip your harness with a fail-safe system. One by one, everyone takes turns descending into the cave, an 80-meter descent, with 23 meters covered by rappelling. Once everyone is safely on the floor of the chamber, the group takes a short walk and turns the corner to the MASSIVE Cathedral of Hang Pygmy exit, the fourth largest cave in the world, where you set up camp.

After some rest, you will have the rest of the day to relax, stroll through the huge chamber, which is the fourth largest cave in the world, and reminisce about the amazing day you just had.

In the evening, a Vietnamese dinner with rice wine is offered.

Day 3 - Goodbye Tiger Cave Series and trekking home

After breakfast and cleaning up the camp, you will leave the cave system and begin the half-day trek home. On the trek we will stop a few more times to rest and enjoy a snack, with the opportunity to marvel at the amazing jungle valley you have been trekking on. When you leave the jungle trail, you will be welcomed at the road with some cold drinks and a bus ride back to your hotel!
