Itinerary
Pick up from your hotel at 7.30 in the morning or 12.45 in the afternoon.
Hop on a speedboat and let yourself be whisked away to the Mekong Delta. Watch Vietnam's landscape change from glittering skyscrapers and bustling commercial centres to peaceful rural areas along the banks of the river.
On board, you will enjoy a light breakfast with fresh tropical fruits and mineral water while admiring the beauty of nature and the tranquil waterway with its numerous boats, traditional village houses and lush vegetation. Your guide will give you interesting insights into the daily life of the locals on the riverbank and the natural environment.
At 8.30 am, visit a local riverside market selling fruit, vegetables, spices, seafood and other local delicacies. Take your time to explore the market and soak up its lively atmosphere before continuing your boat trip to the Mekong Delta.
At 9.30am, board a sampan boat at a local pier and take a cruise along a small picturesque canal lined with freshwater mangroves and water coconut palms. This is a wonderful opportunity to relax and take in the sights and sounds of this picturesque water region.
At 10:00 am, you will take a leisurely bike ride along a quiet dirt track to experience the idyllic rhythm of daily life in the Mekong Delta and the warm hospitality of the locals. On the way, you will explore a small village with rustic houses and bridges, gently flowing canals, lush vegetation, vibrant flowers, lively crab farms and vast rice fields at close quarters.
On the way you will stop at a Cao Dai Templeto discover its spectacular architecture and learn more about one of Vietnam's most enigmatic religions.
At 11:00 am, continue to a historic 18th century Buddhist pagoda whose unique architecture reflects Vietnam's rich cultural heritage and spiritual traditions.
At 11.30 am you return to the starting point of the tour to enjoy a light meal lovingly prepared by the family.
After dinner, say goodbye to the Mekong Delta and board a speedboat to return to Saigon.
At 13:00 you reach the pier again and are taken to your hotel.
